Star child actor died aged 16 after falling from a moving vehicle

Former child star Hudson Meek, best known for his role in “Baby Driver,” has died after falling from a moving vehicle, according to multiple reports.

CNN reported that Meek “sustained blunt force trauma” after falling on December 19. The site said the 16-year-old was admitted to the University of Alabama Birmingham Hospital, where he died on December 21.

A post on his Instagram account addressed his death.

“His 16 years on this earth were far too short, but he achieved so much and greatly influenced everyone he met,” the post read.

It also asked supporters to “pray for Hudson’s family and friends as we all process this sudden and tragic loss.”

CNN said the Vestavia Hills Police Department in Alabama is “still investigating the circumstances surrounding Meek’s death.”

Along with the “Baby Driver” movie, Meek had acting credits on the “MacGyver” series and voiced “Bada” in 52 episodes of “Badanamu Cadets.” His credits ran right into 2024 with a one-episode gig on “Genius” and an appearance on “The School Duel.”
