Hailee Steinfeld and Josh Allen hint that they are engaged

Hailee Steinfeld and Josh Allen seem to have taken a big step in their largely private relationship.

IN a shared Instagram post shared Friday, Allen is seen on bended knee in front of a massive floral arch as Steinfeld leans down and presses her forehead to his. The two are surrounded by cylindrical candles, with the sea in the background.

The couple didn’t explicitly say they were engaged, they simply captioned the photo with: ” 11•22•24 .”

USA TODAY has reached out to the couple’s reps for comment.

The Oscar-nominated Steinfeld, 27, and the 28-year-old star quarterback for Buffalo Bills have mostly kept their relationship under wraps, only becoming Instagram official in July after more than a year of speculation.

Rumors about the couple began to circulate last spring, and one of the first times they were photographed together was on a night out on the town in New York City in May 2023. In one of the photosAllen had his arm around the “Hawkeye” actress’ back.

On July 23, ahead of the 2024 Paris Olympics, Allen soft-launched her relationship an Instagram postwhich led with a photo of himself and Steinfeld looking away from the camera towards the Eiffel Tower.

Before the pairing was announced, USA TODAY asked Steinfeld in January about the Buffalo Bills before the team won the AFC East title.

Speaking from across the Golden Globes red carpet on Jan. 7, the actress and singer joked that she felt “really good” about the team’s chances that night, but added that USA TODAY’s Ralphie Aversa held a Stefon Diggs- shirt with the “wrong number”. .”
