Apple AirPods Pro 2 just dropped to a new all-time low in Black Friday deals

Apple AirPods Pro 2 normally costs $249. Right now, you can grab them for a rock-bottom price: $154. That’s a whopping $95 off the list price. With Black Friday just hours away, this price may not stick around for long.

The price is available at Walmart and you can order online for delivery on November 29 or pick up in store tomorrow. And shortly after the price went up at Walmart, Amazon matched (actually underbid it by 1c, making it $153.99, to be exact).

These prices are the lowest any retailer has ever sold these headphones. And that follows a series of yo-yo price drops leading up to Black Friday, so depending on which day you placed your order, you could be paying $189 or $169. But this price undercuts everything else.

And it’s a good time to buy AirPods Pro 2. There’s no indication that a new version will be on the market soon, and new features are being launched regularly.

AirPods Pro 2 offers remarkably good sound, especially with its class-leading noise reduction. And since the AirPods 4 with ANC cost $179, the current deal undercuts it by $25, and the noise cancellation on the Pro 2 is much better than on the AirPods 4. There’s also Transparency Mode, so you can hear the outside world without removing the earbuds, and Adaptive Audio mixes Transparency and the ANC.

In addition to ANC, AirPods Pro 2 has strong noise isolation thanks to the four different sizes of silicone ear tips. You can now shake your head to reject a phone call or nod to accept it.

Among the newest features is the hearing test, which is currently in beta. With this feature, you can take a short test where, after listening to trios of beeps for about five minutes, you will find out if you have a hearing loss. In some countries, such as the US, this feature means AirPods Pro 2 can function as a clinical-grade hearing aid with personalized dynamic adjustments.

Add in spatial sound, decent battery life, a MagSafe charging case and Find My features, and you’ve got some of the most well-rounded earphones out there.

The Walmart price was supposed to end by now, but it has remained live due to Amazon price matching. But who knows how long it will last?
