The Pulse of Today, The Insight for Tomorrow

Dry weather before the lake effect snow increases

Dry weather before the lake effect snow increases

MARQUETTE, Mich. (WLUC) –

Conditions will be good for travel across the region today as we get a reprieve from the snow. Apart from patchy snow, it will be a drier day. After that, lake-effect snow showers will increase in the western and eastern OP tomorrow afternoon through Friday night. This will be fluffy accumulating snow. Snowfall amounts will range 3-6″ in the western and eastern counties with 8-12″ in the higher elevations over the weekend. Plan on snowy roads during this time with moderate to heavy intensity at times! Please allow more time for travel delays and slippery roads!
