UK ticket holder wins £177m EuroMillions jackpot in third biggest National Lottery win ever

A UK ticket holder has won a £177million EuroMillions jackpot in Tuesday’s draw, the National Lottery has said.

The dizzying win numbers are: 07, 11, 25, 31, 40, while the Lucky Stars are 09 and 12.

Tuesday night’s new millionaire is ticket number TRLJ40528 – and National Lottery owners Allwyn have reacted with disbelief to the news.

Andy Carter, senior winning advisor at Allwyn, said: “Wow, it’s been a truly incredible night for a single UK ticket holder to win tonight’s whopping £177 million EuroMillions jackpot.

“The win has earned them a place on The National Lottery’s Rich List, becoming the third biggest ever National Lottery winner.

“What a wonderful win just before Christmas and we can’t wait to pay out this fantastic prize.
