Both Hibs and Aberdeen will be looking to turn defeats at the weekend into victory under the lights in Leith.

But the situations in which the two sides find themselves could not be sharper. Hibs are without a win in eight league games and sit bottom of the Premier League after a 4-1 hammering by Dundee.

While the Dons are still sitting comfortably in second place and victory tonight would bring them back level on points with Celtic having played a game more.

However, Aberdeen lost their first league game of the season in Paisley on Saturday, so boss Jimmy Thelin will be aiming to bounce straight back against a dreadful Hibs side.

This is a rescheduled match that was originally moved due to Aberdeen’s Premier Sports Cup commitments.
