The exact identity of Jill Green, whose name appeared in a tribute at the end of From Season 3 has become a big question among the fan community.

Ending the new season of the MGM+ streaming series was text that appeared on the screen. “This season is dedicated in loving memory to Jill Green.”

At the time of writing, it is unclear who this was referring to, as no one named Jill Green appears in the show’s credits.

Some believed it possibly referred to Eleventh Hour Films creative executive producer Jill Green, who was an executive producer on Nine bodies in a Mexican morgue (also streaming on MGM+). However, that doesn’t seem to be the case as the streaming boss is still alive.

What seems most likely is that the tribute is intended for series director Jack Bender’s sister, Jill. Bender has so far directed 16 episodes of the horror series and has an executive producing credit on the series as a whole.

In one Instagram post from March 2024, the From creative shared what appeared to be a tribute to her sister Jill, writing, “My dear big sister Jill, whom I will miss every day. Love your brother, Jack.”

This tribute could be in her honor, but the last name of Bender’s sister has not been confirmed.

There is also a chance that none of these theories are true and the tribute is meant to honor another member of From staff who died during the production of season 3.
