Microsoft ‘implements fix’ after users report problems with Outlook and Teams | News about science, climate and technology

Microsoft has said it has begun “implementing a fix” after users reported issues with Outlook and Teams.

The tech giant said on Monday that users had been affected due to a “recent change” to its Exchange Online program.

The problem meant that users had difficulty sending or loading email attachments when using Outlook, were unable to connect to the server, and in some cases were unable to log into their accounts.

Microsoft Exchange Online is a business communication platform that has a mail server and cloud apps for email, contacts, and calendars.

In a post on X on Monday afternoon, Microsoft 365 Status said it had regretted the change and “began implementing a fix which is currently progressing through the affected environment”.
