Today: We start the day on the mild side with a stray sprinkle or light shower possible. The chance for rain is the result of a cold front that will cause temperatures to drop through the afternoon, eventually landing in the 40s by the evening rush. Meanwhile, winds will become a bit breezy behind the front with some gusts to 25 MPH this afternoon and evening.

Tuesday: Dry, cooler and mostly sunny. After morning lows near 30, temperatures will rise to a near-normal high in the upper 40s.

Thanksgiving Update: We expect scattered rain to develop Wednesday with highs near 50. This rain will move out as colder air moves in Wednesday night into Thanksgiving morning. While some wet snowflakes may mix with the rain before it closes down completely, especially north of St. Louis, it looks very unlikely that we will see any travel impact as a result of wintry precipitation. Ground temperatures will be too warm and the window of opportunity for snow will be too short.

Arctic front! Expect our first real blast of winter-like temperatures late this week and into the weekend! We’re looking at a stretch of highs in the 30s and overnight lows in the teens and 20s.
