Tectone separates from OTK due to accusations of sexual assault from an ex-girlfriend

Twitch streamer Tectone has parted ways with OTK amid numerous abuse allegations from his ex-partner Pinkchyu, which he continues to vehemently deny and has even demanded an apology within the next 24 hours.

On November 20, 2024, Pinkchyu claimed to be a victim of “sexual abuse” in a series of tweets that did not explicitly name an abuser. Many viewers speculated that the name in question was Twitch streamer Tectone, drawing a response in the hours that followed.

Tectone addressed the whole thing both on stream and on X (formerly Twitter), where the allegations were made. Denying any wrongdoing, he pushed back and claimed that Pinkchyu was ‘faking’ “issues that never happened.

“It’s crazy how these things that have happened in your own mind — you’re coming at me now and this is just not cute,” Tectone said at the time.

While he then gave his ex two weeks to “apologise” before pursuing legal action, Tectone went live again on Nov. 24 to discuss the allegations further. Early in the Twitch broadcast, he confirmed that he had parted ways with OTK, but reportedly not because of the ongoing situation.

Tectone stands out with OTK

Although OTK has yet to make an official statement, Tectone was subtly removed from the group’s website when the controversy came into the spotlight. And while Tectone was quick to confirm that he had parted ways with the organization, he maintained that it was completely separate from the Pinkchyu allegation.

Tectone claimed that his November 24 broadcast was “the single most important stream of (his) life”, and Tectone did not address everything directly. First the topic was OTK.

“Did OTK get you off their site because of baseless accusations?” asked one viewer. “The answer is no,” Tectone answered bluntly.

Tectone’s contract with the content creation group reportedly ended on November 1, 2024. Over the past few weeks, he claims to have considered his options. “As of last night, I have chosen not to renew,” he explained.

The reason behind this decision reportedly had nothing to do with the current scandal. Rather, Tectone had planned to leave for as long as “four months”, claiming that his association with other popular streamers gave him a “weakness”.

“I don’t like how people can go after other people when I do some stupid shit,” he said.

For the most part, he expressed affection for many of OTK’s remaining members, although it was suggested with some individuals, it often felt like “contractually obligated friendships.”

Obviously, this split that came in the middle of the ongoing situation with Pinkchyu raised a lot of eyebrows, especially with the silence on OTK’s end. To further clarify his position, Tectone continued his stream to focus on the allegations against him.

Tectone gives Pinkchyu the deadline to apologize for the accusations

“I want to make it extremely clear, everything she accuses me of in her statement is a complete lie,” Tectone doubled down, repeating his position from days before. “Nothing about these allegations is true, they are completely fabricated.”

Addressing a particular allegation in which Pinkchyu suggested she was “guilty of performing sexual acts due to non-payment of rent”, Tectone pulled up alleged receipts. The streamer featured screenshots of his ex apparently paying rent on several occasions, though that’s not all.

Tectone then brought up an earlier tweet from his ex. In her own words, she claimed to pay back rent by June 2024. At the time, she added in the same tweet, “I couldn’t ask for a better friend.”

“This whole thing that people bought into, it’s very unfortunate,” Tectone said. “This tweet is contradictory and a f***ing lie.”

Tectone has now tightened its deadline and given Pinkchyu 24 hours to respond. He wants to see the post deleted and a public apology, or he has threatened to file a lawsuit.

“You have 24 hours. You want to delete your post and you want to apologize. I don’t want to go to court, I don’t want all this aired publicly. I want to move on.”
