We’ve been looking forward to this one as Vegas hosted one of the most exciting races last year, with plenty of daring overtakes on the tight concrete walled corners. The late deserts are the coldest event on the calendar, making grip a serious issue on Sin City’s slick street course. Russell will start on pole but all eyes will be on Verstappen as he could win the title tonight. So let us show you everything you need to know about where you can watch a free Las Vegas F1 live stream wherever you are in the world.

Where to watch a free Las Vegas F1 live stream

These channels offer every race, except for the Austrian option, as the races switch every weekend between ORF1 and Servus TV – ORF1 has the free Las Vegas F1 live stream.

Any extended Las Vegas F1 highlights later?

In the UK, Channel 4 has extended highlights a few hours after the race on Sunday 24 November at 7:30am ET / 12:30pm GMT / 1:30pm CET / 8:30pm AWST.

Although this highlight show usually features plenty of pre- and post-race discussion and interviews, a good portion of the running time is usually dedicated to the race itself. For example, the first week’s live race lasted about 92 minutes, and I timed the actual race highlights portion of the show at 72 minutes. This week’s highlights show is two and a half hours long, so I expect you’ll see a huge amount of time dedicated to the race.

Overall, it’s still my preferred viewing option right now compared to paying for a subscription service or watching it without English commentary.

You can also watch these highlights on-demand the next day. That said, we sometimes notice that this version is a bit shorter than the usual highlights program.

You can tune in to Channel 4 website online and use a VPN as described above to watch outside the UK.

How to watch Las Vegas F1 live stream in USA

ESPN covers the remaining Formula 1 races this season, but ESPN+ and ABC also have a few, including this week’s Las Vegas GP. If you don’t already have any of these channels, ESPN+ runs on a one-month rolling contract and starts at $11.99 per month.

For ESPN proper, consider a few cord-cutting options. Sling TV’s Orange tier is normally $40 a month, but there’s a special offer right now that knocks your first month down to $20. FuboTV is another option and comes with a 7-day free trial and a $20 discount this week. DirecTV Stream is an even more comprehensive cord-cutting option in terms of channel selection, but pricing starts at $86.98 per month after the free trial.

ESPN+ (monthly plan)

Designed for sports, ESPN Plus gives subscribers access to live MLB, NHL, NFL, soccer, golf and UFC games. You can pay $12 a month or go for an annual deal, which will save you about $20 a year. There’s also a bundle with Hulu and Disney Plus that gives an even better discount.

Sling TV subscription

For just the essentials with no extra fluff, Sling TV is the streaming service you’re looking for. It’s more customizable than other plans, with three options to choose from, so you only pay for what you need. New members often get a big discount on their first month.

DirecTV Stream

Formerly known as AT&T TV, DirecTV Stream offers streaming access to a large selection of live channels, including most key networks typically found in traditional cable packages.

Fubo Pro Plan

Fubo is the streaming service for sports fans. Its huge library of channels includes regional and international sports leagues that sets it apart from the competition. You can also use additional programming for your plan, but it will cost you extra.

How to watch Las Vegas F1 live stream in the UK

Want a free option? Channel 4 run an excellent extended highlights show (see above) a few hours after each race, which is a solid alternative given the length of the show. They even do qualifying highlights a few hours after it’s finished the day before as well.

If you really want to see everything livea Sky Sports deal is your best bet, and this is also a great way to get it in glorious 4K. Sky covers every race weekend, so you don’t have to switch between it and networks like TNT as you do for the Premier League.

If you don’t want a traditional TV contract and prefer a monthly option, you can ditch it whenever you want, Sky’s Now TV offshoot has a Sky Sports tier that costs £11.99 for a day pass or £34.99 a month.

The biggest appeal of Now TV is that it runs on a rolling one-month contract, but if you need it every week, getting a proper one is arguably a better deal Sky Sports package as you get much more for your money. Now TV, too, is still operating in the dark ages and has the gall to recharge additional to HD in 2024.
