Heart disease affects everyone. Desert yard light

Holiday lovers in the West Valley no longer have to head across town for Christmas cheer. The event features lighted mazes, bouncy houses, obstacle courses and a gingerbread slide. Grand Canyon Railway’s Polar Express

Santa’s elves will read Chris Van Allsburg’s popular holiday book (the basis of the movie starring Tom Hanks) while your family ventures to the “North Pole.” There will be hot chocolate, cookies, caroling and Santa Claus. The world of lighting

Encanto: The sing-along movie concert

Have you lost count of how many times you’ve watched Encanto with the kids? You’ll want to endure another viewing of the animated hit about a magical but dysfunctional family. It’s never too early to get into the holiday spirit. That must be why this production of the 1942 musical film about romance and Christmas cheer starts weeks before Halloween. The film starred Bing Crosby and Fred Astaire and featured songs by Irving Berlin, including “White Christmas,” which was reportedly written at the Arizona Biltmore and inspired its own hit movie musical in 1954.
