CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) – Our Tuesday is off to a windy start with a few lingering showers.

We’ll see some breaks in the clouds in the late morning and into the afternoon as temperatures climb into the mid-50s.

Here comes the cooldown

As the system winds down, colder air and clouds settle in and that could bring some light rain and snow showers on Wednesday – our first flakes of the season! No major impacts are expected, but it is a friendly reminder that winter is well on its way.
