Kim Kardashian Recruits Sister Kourtney for Dolce & Gabbana x SKIMS Collab

Kim and Kourtney Kardashian shine in artful, nostalgic images from SKIMS’ latest collaboration!

FOAM is launching a new collaboration with Dolce & Gabbana, which will be available to shop on November 19. The partnership, announced Thursday, Nov. 14, “merges the Italian lifestyle of Dolce&Gabbana with SKIMS signature comfort and solutions,” according to a press release.

“It has been an honor to collaborate with my friends Domenico and Stefano on this special collection for Dolce&Gabbana and SKIMS,” Kim said in the release. “We’ve taken classic Dolce&Gabbana silhouettes and leopard prints and reimagined them with the incredible fit and comfort that SKIMS is known for. This is a truly iconic partnership that I’m so excited to share with the world.”

The upcoming collection, which unites the two brands’ silhouettes, materials and styles, has been captured in “authentic everyday Italian settings” by visual artist Nadia Lee Cohen and photographer Donna Trope.

In a photo from the collaboration, the Kardashian sisters walk down an Italian street in matching leopard-print catsuits, donning classic voluminous hairstyles while receiving admiring glances from those around them.

Another shows Kim leaning out of a window in a leopard print bralette and matching button-up. Another image sees Kim relaxing in a chair wearing a black sheer mesh bodysuit, stockings and a white apron with her hair artfully piled on top of her head.

Kim and Kourtney also filmed a pair of videos for the campaign that find them in the same Italian setting, wearing their leopard print and high-fashion SKIMS pieces. They’re frolicking, all smiles — which is a far cry from the clash the two found themselves in just a few short years ago amid Kourtney’s wedding and Kim’s foray into modeling and fashion house collaborations.

Kardashian fans will remember that Kourtney wore a Dolce & Gabbana mini dress to her May 2022 wedding to Travis Barker. The rest of the family also dressed in looks from the Italian brand for the wedding. Just a few short months later, Kim collaborated with D&G at Milan Fashion Week.

In a later section of the The Kardashians in June 2023, Kim opened up about the situation, saying in a confessional: “I want to respect Kourtney and this journey; I didn’t want to make anything of her looks, even though I loved them.”

However, Kourtney cried that Kim “copied” her wedding with her “business deal” with Dolce & Gabbana and said she didn’t think her sister cared how she felt about the matter.

Lingerie, sleepwear, coutouring pants and corsets will all be part of the upcoming collaboration, and are made to be versatile through everyday use. The collection ranges from XXS to 4X, and bra sizes 30A to 38DD.

“We have a genuine affection for Kim and her family,” Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana said in the press release. “Our shared bond, rooted in a long-standing friendship, naturally inspired this new collaboration centered on inclusivity and body positivity—values close to our hearts and core at Skims.”

The collection will be launched on Tuesday 19 November at 9am EST at SKIMS.com, SKIMS stores, select Dolce&Gabbana stores and Neiman Marcus.
