Watch Packers vs Bears game today: Channel, time, streaming info

game

Is Sunday that day, the Chicago Bears unlock rookie quarterback Caleb Williams? Or will Green Bay PackersDoes the dominance over the Bears continue?

Anyone who follows Packers is used to putting a ‘W’ on the two Bears games before the season even begins. Green Bay has won 10 straight its NFC North rivals.

After three straight losses, the Bears have fired offensive coordinator Shane Waldron, replacing him with passing game coordinator Thomas Brown.

Will that spark Williams, who hasn’t thrown a touchdown pass since mid-October? Or will it be an 11th straight win over the Bears for the rested Packers?

After a bye week, quarterback Jordan Love is off the injury report and will return to Soldier Field for the first time since last year’s season opener, a 38-20 Packers victory.

Love says it would “definitely be cool” to develop a rivalry with Williams over the next few years. At this point, though, the rivalry has been one-sided — and Packers fans are cool with that.

Packers vs Bears predictions, picks, odds

Pete Dougherty: Caleb Williams and the Bears have had a rough time recently, failing to score a touchdown in their last two games. That’s as bad as it gets in today’s NFL. But they made a change at offensive coordinator this week, firing Shane Waldron and replacing him with passing coordinator Thomas Brown, and you never know how the first game is going to play out. Maybe they will show new life. The packages coming off their bye and a humiliating home loss to Detroit, so they should be healthier and motivated. The guess here is that Williams is playing better, but not well enough to be the difference. Packers 30, Bears 17

Tom Silverstein: Both teams have quarterbacks trying to find the magic they once had. Jordan Love will lean on improving health and full participation in practice to help him find his groove. Caleb Williams will lean on new offensive coordinator Thomas Brown to reboot the Bears offense. It would be exciting to see this turn into a scoring extravaganza, but more than likely it will be a game of runs up the middle and play-action passes. As long as the Packers ride Josh Jacobs to the finish line and lasso Williams’ fine line of pass-catchers, they should win the first NFC North game of the year. Packers 27, Bears 21

Ryan Wood: Here’s a possibility coming off a bye week for the Packers to show their second-half run from last year can be repeated. There are plenty of execution issues from the first half of the season that need improvement, the reasons why the Packers find themselves in third place in the NFC North, despite a much more favorable 6-3 record than last year. There are wiretapping. Punishment. Drops. Red-zone inefficiency. The defensive line struggles to find the pass rush in its 4-3 system. And there are the Bears, a team in disarray after firing offensive coordinator Shane Waldron this week, a stalemate with defensive-minded head coach Matt Eberflus essentially a lame duck. On paper, the Bears have plenty of talent to pose a threat. But this is the reality where the Bears are once again a dysfunctional mess. The type of team a young, talented group should handle with ease. Packers 33, Bears 12

Dominique Yates: The Bears have tons of talent, but quite simply, they’re a mess right now. They’ve lost three straight games, fired Shane Waldron nine games into his tenure as offensive coordinator, and it feels like the team is tapped out for the season. The Packers still have a bad taste in their mouth after the loss to the Lions and still need to show they are improving in areas. But if this team wants to make a run in the second half of the season, it starts on Sunday. Packers 31, Bears 20
