After the first season of Silo – the Apple TV Plus series starring Rebecca Ferguson as an inhabitant of a mysterious underground dwelling – a second season gives viewers a chance to find more answers.

In the dystopian show, thousands live in an underground structure of unknown origin. Silo society clings to its buried shelter, knowing that the outside world is not an option. But there is clearly more to the story – and Ferguson’s character Juliette begins to reveal details after the death of a loved one.

Silo is based on novels by Hugh Howey, and the first season cast also includes Rashida Jones, David Oyelowo, Common, Tim Robbins, Harriet Walter, Chinaza Uche and Avi Nash. Steve Zahn (The White Lotus Season 1) is a new addition to the Apple show’s Season 2 cast. Here’s when you can watch the latest Silo episodes and why a VPN might be worth considering.

How to watch Silo Season 2 from anywhere with a VPN

Maybe you’re traveling abroad and want to stream Apple TV Plus while away from home. With a VPN, you are able to virtually change your location on your phone, tablet or laptop to access the series from anywhere in the world. There are also other good reasons to use a VPN for streaming.

A VPN is the best way to encrypt your traffic to prevent your ISP from throttling your speeds. Using a VPN is also a good idea if you’re traveling and want to add an extra layer of privacy to your devices and log-ins when connecting to Wi-Fi networks. Streaming TV can be a little smoother with a reliable, quality VPN that has passed our tests and meets our security standards.

You can use a VPN to stream content legally as long as VPNs are allowed in your country and you have a valid subscription to the streaming service you are using. The US and Canada are among the countries where VPNs are legal, but we advise against streaming or downloading content on illegal torrent sites. We recommend ExpressVPN, but you can choose another provider from our best list, such as Surfshark or NordVPN.
