Mike Tomlin has a four-word message for newest Steelers WR Mike Williams

For nearly 60 minutes, it looked like newcomer Mike Williams would not be a factor in his first game with Pittsburgh Steelers. That is until Calvin Austin III was sidelined with a head injury late in the fourth quarter.

Williams’ only catch was a 32-yard touchdown that floated perfectly by a pressed Russell Wilson. The score would end up being a game-winner for Pittsburgh.

On the sidelines, a fired up Mike Tomlin had four words for Williams: You’re a Steeler now.

It’s a small sample size, but Williams could be just what the doctor ordered for Pittsburgh’s wide receiver room. Van Jefferson is not. Austin’s talent has its limitations. We already know how valuable George Pickens has been. Pickens, paired with Williams, should bolster scoring opportunities as the Steelers navigate a brutal second-half schedule.
