“The Golden Bachelorette” spoilers ahead.

“The Golden Bachelorette” is ready to hand out its final rose.

After a shocking breakup, the inaugural season of the reality dating show returned with the episode “Men Tell All” last week, which USA TODAY’s Bryan Alexandar described as “goo-ey good,” with the men embracing “Golden Bachelorette” Joan Vassos, 61, and each other with hearty Sensitive Man hugs.

During the “Men Tell All” episode of the show, all of Joan’s potential suitors talked about their experience on the show, while Pascal and Joan addressed the shocking twist in the previous episode.

“I want nothing but the best for Pascal,” Joan told USA TODAY after the taping. “It was hurtful and I was surprised; I’ll admit that. But he wasn’t where he needed to be. And the bottom line was he did the right thing.”

Pascal, meanwhile, said he had no intention of hurting Joan, telling USA TODAY: “I feel very confident that I was ‘the chosen one’ and I wasn’t in the place that she needed me to I was. I realized that there is no need for me to continue.”

The drama is definitely not over: “In every ‘Bachelor’ ending, there’s a twist,” Joan told USA TODAY. “There are many tears and emotions. But in the long run, there are also happy tears.”

All eyes are now on the season finale as viewers wonder who Joan will choose between Guy and Chock.

“It’s a pivotal week on the breathtaking island of Bora Bora as Joan’s family arrives, eager to meet the men who have been vying for her heart,” ABC says of the upcoming episode. “As her journey to find another lasting love draws to a close, Joan struggles with the uncertainty of whether she can truly let another man in after her late husband’s passing.”

Joan, her family and her last two husbands will join Jesse Palmer in front of a live studio audience to watch her final dates unfold, ABC says.

A private school administrator from Rockville, Maryland, the 61-year-old Vassos was among the top picks for the show following the success of “The Golden Bachelor,” USA TODAY exclusively revealed in February.

Vassos spent a romantic evening with “Golden Bachelor” Gerry Turner on last year’s show and became a fan favorite after her heartbreaking decision to leave over a medical concern with her daughter.

During her time on Turner’s season, Vassos had spoken passionately about her husband, John, who died after 32 years of marriage from pancreatic cancer. “He was the man who always made me feel safe and loved,” Vassos had written on Instagram in January.
