Donald Trump and Elon Musk golf at Trump International after election victory

President-elect Donald Trump appeared to be playing golf Sunday at the Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach, Florida, according to social media posts.

Trump was accompanied by his grandson, Kai Trump, as well as Elon Musk.

“Elon achieves uncle status ,” Kai Trump wrote in one of his few posts on X from the outing. The caption accompanied a photo of her on the court standing next to Musk and his son X Æ A-Xii.

Christopher Ruddy, CEO of Newsmax Media, was also at the golf club on Sunday.

“Great conversation today with @elonmusk and @realdonaldtrump at Trump International GC, America is ready for a big comeback!” he wrote together with a image on X.

Trump International was the scene of the second assassination attempt on Trump on September 15, 2024.

It was the second time in as many months that someone had attempted to take the former president’s life after Trump was shot in the ear at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, in July.

The president-elect had not been seen playing golf since the second attempt, but it is unclear whether Sunday’s outing was also Trump’s first time back at the club in general.

He appeared in photos with Kai Trump, in some of her social media posts from the day, apparently both from inside the club and out on the field at Trump International.

The Secret Service had previously expressed concern to Trump, telling him that additional planning and security procedures are needed for him to continue his golf trips.

Sources told ABC News in September that Trump would not play golf again until a new security plan was in place, which was expected after the election.
