Hurricanes @ Golden Knights – Preview and Game Thread

The Carolina Hurricanes (10-3-0) travel to Las Vegas to take on the Golden Knights (9-3-2) tonight at T-Mobile Arena.

The Canes are coming off a tough 6-4 loss to Colorado, while the Knights recently lost 4-3 to the Kraken in OT. Carolina had won 8 games in a row before facing the Avs. The Knights have a 6-1-1 record in their last eight.

Martin Necas leads his club with 23 points, Jack Eichel has 22 for the home team.

The Hurricanes had started the exact same group of 18 skaters for every game this season, but that could change tonight. Tyson Jost and Ty Smith were both recalled from Chicago. I didn’t see any official lineup for tonight’s contest.

A report on Twitter mentioned that Vegas coach Bruce Cassidy said pregame that Mark Stone will not play tonight for the home team.

They will celebrate Veterans Day with a special ceremony tonight.
