The future of Clarkson’s Farm is revealed as Prime Video makes a huge announcement after the third series hit screens

Clarkson’s Farm is set to return for a fifth series.

The beloved Prime Video series is due to release its fourth series in 2025, but Jeremy Clarkson confirmed on Tuesday that another batch of episodes is already in the works.

The show, which focuses on Jeremy’s trials and tribulations as he tries to run his Diddly Squat Farm, has garnered huge ratings and is particularly popular in China.

When the third series hit the streaming service back in May, it earned an impressive 10.7 million views.

Jeremy himself shared the news in an Instagram post while celebrating Bonfire Night, telling his followers he was about to start filming series five, with the fourth series set to hit screens next year.

In a hilarious clip, a huge firework number five lit up the sky as Jeremy told his followers: ‘Over the years, bright lights in the sky have been used to make many important announcements.

‘The birth of the baby Jesus for example, but tonight they are being used to make an announcement that is even bigger than that.

“Season 5 of Clarkson’s Farm is coming,” Jeremy concluded before pointing towards gold number five.

He captioned the post: “It’s November 5th… it just felt right, Clarkson’s Farm S5 is officially in production.”

Jeremy’s announcement brought joy to many of his followers, who were quick to share their excitement in the comments.

Posts included: ‘Can we just sign for 10 seasons now because it’s the best show;

‘It’s crazy to announce season five before season four even comes out;

‘See the US election results. This announcement is the one!

‘Best news I’ve heard all year;

‘Please never stop your series is the best thing ever, so funny.’

It comes after Jeremy gave fans a major health update after revealing he was ‘days away from death’ before his life-saving heart operation last month.

The presenter revealed he is ‘better than ever’ as he was spotted returning to work just weeks after his major health scare.

The former Top Gear host was spotted at his pub with his Clarkson’s Farm right-hand man Kaleb Cooper.

The star told fans he was fine after they asked for a health update, and one visitor told the publication: ‘It was great to see him look so closely at what has happened. I was in the pub with my boyfriend and then we went out into the car park and spotted him.

‘He seemed really cheerful. We asked how he was doing after the heart procedure and he said: “I’m fine – better than ever”. I shook his hand and wished him well. And Jeremy said: ‘I’d like to stop and chat but I’ve got a busy day with lots to do’.’

Jeremy’s outing comes after he revealed last month that he was ‘days away from death’ before he recently underwent emergency heart surgery.

The presenter had to have the procedure after a ‘sudden deterioration’ in his health, with the star admitting: ‘Crikey, it was close.’

He began to feel unwell after swimming in the Indian Ocean while on a ‘small island’ holiday and later found it difficult to climb a flight of stairs.

Jeremy returned to the UK and a ‘sudden worsening began to take off’, where he felt ‘clumsy’, ‘tight in my chest’ and ‘pins and needles in my left arm’.

After sharing the news in his Sunday Times column on Sunday, he shared a further update on his health.

He told The Sun: ‘I’m very grateful to everyone who has sent messages of support, but I’m fine.’
