2024 Middle Tennessee Election Results: How Cheatham County Voted

Editor’s note: Results posted tonight are unofficial until certified by the Cheatham County Election Commission.

Unofficial election results are in Cheatham County, where a handful of local races were decided in Kingston Springs and Pleasant View re-elected the town’s mayor after an unopposed contest.

Pleasant View residents also decided on a proposed sales tax increase.

Thousands flocked to the polls to cast their ballots early and on election day.

Cheatham County has 29,510 registered voters, and 20,856 of them, or just over 70%, voted in this election, according to the local election commission, which also reported that 16,178 residents voted early.

Here are the local race recaps, with all precincts reporting, including early and absentee votes:

County Commission District 2 Unexpired term

  • Randy Noe: 2,417
  • Aric H. Storck: 583
  • Kimberly Messer-Duke: 387

Randy Noe was elected to fill a vacancy in Cheatham County Commission District 2. Noe faced two challengers in his bid for the office.

Town of Kingston Springs City Commissioner (3)

  • Keith Allgood: 1,272
  • Michael Coldwell: 1,097
  • Lauren Ellen Hill: 1,127

Keith Allgood, Michael Coldwell and Lauren Ellen Hill ran unopposed for the Kingston Springs Commission.

Mayor of the Town of Pleasant View

Incumbent Bill Anderson faced no opposition when he sought another term Tuesday.

He took to Facebook before polls closed to share his thoughts.

“… the support that this community has given us over all these years at elections has been phenomenal,” he wrote. “I look forward to being your mayor again. We still have work to do and will continue to focus on doing as we said in previous elections.”

Town of Pleasant View Alderman (2)

  • Meghan Henderson: 2,212
  • Jill Niccolich: 1,954

Incumbents Meghan Henderson and Jill Niccolich were re-elected as Pleasant View Aldermen in at-large races.

Town of Pleasant See referendum on increased sales tax

The referendum would have raised the local VAT rate from 2.25 to 2.75.
