‘America needs a strong leader and the world needs a strong America,’ Dana White on Trump 2024 presidency

Las Vegas On the eve of what many call the most consequential election in recent American history, Merit TV’s Dr. Phil McGraw sat down with CEO and President of the Ultimate Fighting Championship organization Dana White for an in-depth interview.

“It’s not just Americans who want Trump to win. People all over the world want Trump to win. America needs a strong leader and the world needs a strong America,” White said of his longtime friend and current Republican presidential candidate Donald J. Trump. The former president is a UFC fan and is often seen smiling at the octagon during MMA fights.

During this year’s presidential campaign, White has returned to show his support by attending several high-profile campaign events, including Trump’s recent rally at Madison Square Garden in New York City. He even introduced Trump at this year’s Republican National Convention in Milwaukee.

When asked by McGraw: “What do you say to the people who are afraid he’s going to go on a revenge cycle and arm the Justice Department and go after anyone who said anything or did anything… or prosecuted him?”

“Basically, he’s going to do what they did to him,” White replied. “At the end of the day, Trump is a very strong guy. He’s what you want in a president. He’s not going to go after everybody, of course he’s not. At the end of the day, he’s a good guy. They keep trying to give him this image that he’s this tyrant to fix this country, take care of the American people and hopefully fix all the other things that are going on around the world.”

In an earlier report from Yahoo SportsWhite said he’s not “out there being very political,” aside from his unabashed support for Trump.

“I don’t care what side you’re on. We’re all Americans,” White said in the interview. “We all want the same things. We want to make a good living. We want a house; we want a car. We want to feel safe in our hometown and in our houses, and we want to take care of our families. No matter what class of life you come from, what you want, we all want the same things.”

In addition to telling McGraw why he believes it is in the best interest of the American people for Trump to win the election, White described his self-made rise to success and touched on the current state of the country.

“If you know Dana White at all, you know he’s very outspoken and doesn’t mince words at all. So you hear him come through loud and clear,” McGraw said.
