Nebraska presidential election 2024 live results

Republican Donald Trump and Democrat Kamala Harris will face off in Nebraska over the state’s five Electoral College votes. Trump’s message to voters has focused on the economy, immigration and crime. Since taking over as the Democratic standard-bearer after President Joe Biden dropped out, Harris has argued that she would usher in a new era and has campaigned to improve the care economy, protect abortion rights and preserve democracy. The conservative state voted to support Trump in 2016 and 2020, but does not award all of its Electoral College votes based on the state’s popular vote. In 2016 and 2020, Democrats were able to win one vote. In 2020, Trump won Nebraska with 58% of the vote to Biden’s 39%. In 2016, Trump won Nebraska with 60% to Hillary Clinton’s 34%.
