The Dallas Cowboys shut down WR CeeDee Lamb (shoulder) for the rest of the season

The Dallas Cowboys are shutting down wide receiver CeeDee Lamb for the rest of the season.

The team announced Thursday that the standout offensive weapon will miss the final two games of the season against NFC East rivals Philadelphia and Washington.

Lamb has been playing through a shoulder injury for a number of weeks.

The organization said further tests and scans this week on Lamb’s shoulder determined his injury had progressed to the point where the team decided to sideline him. He will undergo a treatment and rehabilitation process for his shoulder and is not expected to require surgery at this time.
