Starting Tuesday, December 24, the drama sequel starring Paul Mescal, Pedro Pascal and Denzel Washington can be streamed online via premium video-on-demand platforms. You can rent Gladiator II on digital in 4K Ultra HD for $19.99, or buy for $24.99 at Prime Video, Apple TV and elsewhere.

Distributed by Paramount Pictures, Gladiator II is expected to land on Paramount+ once its current theatrical run ends sometime in late January or early February 2025.

Meanwhile Gladiator II in 4K Ultra HD can be rented for $19.99 or purchased digitally for $24.99 on Prime Video, Apple TV and other video-on-demand platforms. Tickets to see the movie in theaters are still available at Fandango.com and elsewhere.

Gladiator II: Plot, Cast, Run Time

Directed by Ridley Scott, Gladiator II takes place 16 years after the death of Emperor Marcus Aurelius of Rome and follows Hanno (Paul Mescal), a former soldier turned slave who is forced to be a gladiator for the entertainment of Roman high society. But when his owner Macrinus (Denzel Washington) goes mad seeking power, Hanno starts a revolution to return Rome to its former glory.

The film also stars Pedro Pascal, Connie Nielsen, Joseph Quinn, Fred Hechinger, Lior Raz, Derek Jacobi and others. It runs for two hours and 28 minutes.
