Where to watch Chiefs at Steelers today: TV, time, predictions

game

A doubleheader of NFL action is scheduled for Christmas, which should keep the holiday spirit flowing like eggnog all day.

There have been 30 NFL games played on Christmas, including two each in 2004, ’06, ’16, ’17 and ’21. This year will mark the fifth straight season with games played on holidays. The Pittsburgh Steelers and Kansas City Chiefs action starts at 1 p.m. ET.

The bosses come in Week 17placed as no. 1 seed in the AFC. The defending Super Bowl champions will be in a game against the Steelers. At kickoff, many families across the country will be unwrapping their presents and the excitement should continue as this matchup promises to be entertaining.

Despite their stellar record, the Chiefs have had a tumultuous season compared to what we typically see from them since Patrick Mahomes was prepared. The KC offense have struggled to score but its defense remains a strength. Conversely, the Steelers are fighting for a spot in the AFC playoff picture and appear poised for a deep playoff run behind a revitalized offense with Russell Wilson at the helm.
