PS Portal Cloud Streaming Beta wins big titles like The Last of Us and Resident Evil

The latest news coming out on the PS Portal cloud streaming beta suggests that the catalog of new games coming to the beta is growing at a rapid rate.

One of the latest observations about PlayStation Portal’s cloud streaming feature currently in beta is whether this feature will be successful with players. When system software update 4.0.0 was announced, Sony said that only select PS5 games from the PS Plus Premium catalog would be available to stream. But beta testers are now reporting that the list of available games is growing at an impressive rate. This could lead to a resurgence for those still on the fence to get a PS Portal Remote Player.

The PS Portal cloud streaming feature is something gamers have been waiting for since the announcements and launch of the PS Portal. This feature would eventually eliminate the need to use a PS5 with a PS Plus Premium membership. Many criticized the PS Portal’s lack of live streaming at launch, but have since praised the feature’s smooth rollout even in beta.

Now there are beta testers reporting that new games have been added to the cloud streaming list pretty much every week. One player even made a Reddit thread documents all the streamable games. Major titles have made the list, e.g The Last of Us Part I, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Resident Evil 2 & 3, Monster Hunter Rise among 200 other titles. Unfortunately, streaming PS4 and PS3 titles is still not currently supported.
