Hugh Jackman’s kids feel ‘guilty’ for welcoming ‘girlfriend’ Sutton Foster into their lives – as Wolverine star’s daughter’s name revealed

Hugh Jackman‘s two children reportedly feel guilty for welcoming his rumored new girlfriend, Sutton Fosterinto their family.

A year after the actor split from his wife of 27 years, Deborra-Lee Furness, the couple’s children Oscar, 24, and Ava, 19, are getting used to sharing time between their famous Australian parents.

They also struggle to come to terms with how to interact with their father’s new flame.

“It’s been hard for the kids, having to welcome Sutton into their dad’s world with their own mixed feelings about it, while also feeling guilty if they get too close,” a source told Woman’s Day.

“It’s all going to be a bit messy, but Hugh is hoping that time heals all wounds, so if they can get through this holiday season without any major explosions, they’ll be on smoother waters in the new year.”

Hugh, 56, is currently in Australia spending the holidays with his son Oscar and daughter Ava. It is unclear if their mother Deb will also return Down Under Christmas.

The trio – who live in New York – are likely to live in his stunning $12 million North Bondi penthouse.

While Hugh is enjoying an Australian Christmas with his children, Sutton is back in Los Angeles performing in the stage production of Once Upon A Mattress.

Hugh and Sutton’s romance has reportedly continued to blossom away from the spotlight, and the pair have reached a heartwarming family milestone with Sutton’s adopted daughter, seven.

‘Hugh has met Sutton’s daughter Emily – she even calls him ‘Uncle Hugh’!’ a source told New Idea this week.

However, Hugh’s ex-wife, Deb, is said to have been ‘seething with rage at the pair’s rumored new romance.

Hugh and Deb, 69, confirmed their separation after almost three decades together in September 2023 and he is now are said to be dating Broadway star Sutton, 49.

It has been claimed that Deb was furious at being ‘the last to know’ about the relationship.

According to Radar OnlineDeb was particularly unimpressed with Hugh’s close friend Ryan Reynolds and his wife Blake Livelywho both allegedly ‘kept quiet’ about the rumored romance.

“They kept their lips sealed out of loyalty to Hugh,” a source told the publication.

‘Now seething with rage at being the last to know, Deb feels blindsided. She has a memory like a steel trap and is not afraid to use it.

“Debs feels cheated by all three because someone could have told her what happened and they all chose to keep their mouths shut,” they added.

Daily Mail Australia has contacted Deb and Ryan’s representatives for comment.

Hugh and Sutton took on the roles of Harold Hill and Marian Paroo in The Music Man, which ran from February 2022 to January 2023 at the Winter Garden Theater in Manhattan.

The pair have attended public events together and stepped out at the opening night of their show The Music Man on Broadway in February 2022.

In September 2023, Hugh shocked fans when he filed for divorce from Deb.

“We have been blessed to share nearly three decades together as husband and wife in a wonderful, loving marriage,” the couple said in a joint statement.

‘Our journey now changes and we have decided to part ways to pursue our individual growth.’

Meanwhile, Sutton filed for divorce from husband Ted Griffin in October.

The Tony-winning Broadway star and Ocean’s Eleven screenwriter, 53, separated after 10 years of marriage, according to Page Six.

The younger actress filed for an uncontested divorce in New York County Supreme Court.
