Adin Ross explains why he’s staying on KICK after rumors of Twitch’s return

Adin Ross has revealed that he will be staying with KICK after weeks of teasing a possible return to Twitch, and he already has some big plans.

Over the past two years, as KICK has attempted to topple Twitch’s dominance of the live streaming space, Adin Ross has become the face of the Stake-backed platform.

At the end of 2024, however, the IRL streamer suggested that his future might be away from KICK. Ross, who co-owns the site, scrapped his regular streaming schedule for a bit and began posting cryptically on social media, leading fans to believe he would be looking for a new home.

He added to that brand himself by saying he was leaving KICK “indefinitely” and appeared to change things in his community so he could return to Twitch.

But on December 21, Adin confirmed he wasn’t going anywhere and praised KICK boss Ed Craven’s work during their time together.

“Sure, look, I’m gonna be real – I’m doing Brand Risk on KICK,” he announced underneath KICK Talk. “Eddie, you’ve been nothing but fair to me as a partner in this, and you’re a great brother, and you believe in Brand Risk, and I know you want to see this go to the moon.

“I think we can make something so big out of this bro. Leave it to me, leave it to Todd, leave it to the people who are going to take this shit to the next level. We’re going to do Brand Risk on KICK, 1 million percent, no matter what.”

Brand Risk is of course Adin’s attempt to host influencer boxing events like KSI, Ibai and WestCol. They have previously teased moving into massive arenas instead of just hosting them in boxing centers.

It would undoubtedly be a tall order to start challenging the other influencer boxing promotions as they have been around longer and have already exploded in size and spectacle.
