Injury update: Geno Smith, Kenneth Walker III cleared to play for Seahawks vs. Vikings

The final injury report is out for the Seattle Seahawks’ huge Week 16 home game against the Minnesota Vikings, and it couldn’t be much more positive for Seattle.

Only tight end Brady Russell, outside linebacker Trevis Gipson and safety K’Von Wallace (who is technically still on IR) have been ruled out Sunday. No one else was even listed as questionable, much less questionable. That means Geno Smith, Kenneth Walker III, Olu Oluwatimi, Zach Charbonnet and others who either missed time or appeared on the injury report after the Green Bay Packers game are all ready to play.

Walker and Tre Brown have each missed the past few games due to their respective injuries, but were full participants in Friday’s practice. Brown has been demoted to special teams after cornerback Josh Jobe’s ascension to the starting lineup.

On the back end, the only absence of note for the Minnesota Vikings is defensive lineman Jalen Redmond, who is out with a concussion. Cornerback Fabian Moreau is out with a hip injury, but that has been mitigated by the return of veteran Stephon Gilmore.

Here is the final injury report with game designations for both teams:
