Scarlett Johansson gives husband Colin Jost a very cheeky snub on her own show SNL

Scarlett Johansson gave her husband Colin Jost a very cheeky snub on her own show Saturday Night Live during this weekend’s episode.

The 74-year-old entertainment icon Martin Short hosted the beloved sketch show for the fifth time – and was thus admitted to the Femtimersklubben.

In his opening sketch, he was welcomed into the coveted group by a dazzling cast of A-list celebrities, including Tom Hanks, Scarlett and Emma Stone.

Kristin Wiig, Jimmy Fallon and Tina Fey, all of whom used to be regulars on Saturday Night Live, were also part of the sketch, as was Melissa McCarthy.

So were John Mulaney, Paul Rudd and Alec Baldwin, rounding out a group of ultra-famous performers who have all hosted the show at least five times — often more.

The skit was set in a posh bar reserved for the top-flight clique – so much so that Scarlett, in a cheeky gesture, had to slam the door on Colin.

As Scarlett burst cheerfully into the lounge, Colin could be seen trailing behind her, standing just outside the door wearing an expectant smile.

Leaving him under no illusion as to his position, Scarlett pushed the door right in his face – and after he left, she gave the door one last push to make sure it was fully closed.

All the stars of the Five-Timers Club were dressed in navy bathrobes that advertised their membership of the group with a ‘5’ logo.

The only exception was Alec, the most prolific show in the half-century-old sketch show’s history, whose label read: ’17.’

Tom, who had created the idea for the Five-Timers Club in a 1990 episode of the show, opened the skit by addressing the audience from an armchair.

He described the club as ‘a brilliantly lazy way to avoid writing a monologue. It has grown into one of the most exclusive clubs in our industry.’

In fact, the Five-Timers Club and the lounge in which they meet have appeared in several episodes of the show over the years as new members have been recruited.

When Martin Short’s time came at the weekend, he was met with a touch of ribbing from his fellow comedy legends.

He described Tina as ‘one of the rarest things in Hollywood – a writer attractive enough to be on camera’, prompting her to fire back that he was ‘one of the least rare things in Hollywood – a loud man.’

Tom spared a mention of Martin’s long-time comedy collaborator Steve Martin, with whom he currently stars on Only Murders In The Building.

The club apparently has a cocktail called a Marty-tini, which Tom explained was ‘often paired with our Steve Martini, but tonight we’re serving it solo’.

Alec poked fun at himself for how often he’s hosted the show, saying: ‘I happen to be a very useful type for the show. They call me when they need someone to play Republican because of my face, my voice and my strong dad vibes.’

Kristin and Martin have a packed meeting, with a tight thread of simmering sexual tension evident between them – even before she reveals they ‘took a hot yoga class together where we made love and got kicked out.’

She added: ‘And then we both voted for Trump’, to which a horrified Martin exclaimed: ‘Don’t tell them!’ only for Kristin to inform him that one of the benefits of membership in the club was the ability to be ‘completely honest’.

The other members of the club issue a stream of their own confessions, with Paul Rudd admitting: ‘Ant-Man’s powers are no good’ and Tina taking responsibility for the mysterious drones flying over New Jersey.

Tom, who was hospitalized with coronavirus in March 2020 at the start of the lockdowns, said: ‘I’ve never had Covid,’ while Scarlett shared: ‘I’ve got Covid right now.’
