Kristen Wiig has revealed that motherhood has “profoundly affected” her comedy.

During a performance at The Kelly Clarkson Showthe comedian claimed her four-year-old twins “don’t always think” she’s funny.

The Palm Royale star admitted that her children are the “toughest audience” she’s ever worked for.

“I definitely try hard at home with them because they’re not — they don’t always think I’m funny,” Kristen said.

“I remember one time, my daughter, she was eating and she had potatoes. And she was like, she was playing with the potatoes and said it was like a boat, or whatever. And she said, ‘Look!’ And I was like, ‘Oh, is that a bot tattoo?’ ” the mother of two recalled while talking to the host.

“And I thought it was funny. And the way she looked at me, I was like, ‘I’m so terrified. You’ll never have a sense of (humor),'” Kristen said.

“I mean, it’s not that funny. But the way she looked at me was like, ‘No.’ She said, ‘No more,'” she added.
