The best Christmas movies ever

CCHRISTMAS MOVIE is an industry in itself. Hallmark Channel releases 32 new ones this year; there are dozens of titles available to stream on Netflix. Most of these are unlikely to be seen again and again, year after year; however, the best holiday movies are gifts that keep on giving. What sets them apart is that they’re not just seasonal, but great movies in every way: touching treatises on loneliness and human connection that just happen to have a few snowmen and carolers thrown in.
