The Best New Private Label Grocery Lines of 2024

Although grocery prices moderated slightly from recent years, 2024 marked another big year for private label as retailers launched new store brands and consumers flocked to them.

Annual sales for private label goods have increased 41% over the past five years, according to the Private Label Manufacturers Association (PLMA), and the non-profit trade organization expects private label sales to top $250 billion annually by 2024 turnover. This is a new record.

What’s more, store brands now account for one in four grocery items sold in the U.S., PLMA said.
