Last night (December 14), the singer-songwriter made his debut as a musical guest on the show with a song from ‘The Secret of Us’ as well as an extra track on the deluxe version of the record.

Abrams performed in front of a fireplace and candlelit set and sang ‘That’s So True,’ a live favorite from the ‘Secret of Us’ tour, which she included on the album’s deluxe version in October.

She recently teased that there is also a “very vulgar” version of the hit song, although it will “never see the light of day”. She also performed ‘I Love You, I’m Sorry’, taken from the June version of the record.

Earlier this month, Taylor Swift performed with Abrams during the final leg of her blockbuster ‘Eras Tour’, where the two delivered a mash-up of ‘I Love You, I’m Sorry’ and Swift’s ‘Last Kiss’, taken from her 2010 album ‘Speak Now’.

They had previously teamed up on ‘Us’, taken from Abrams’ latest album. In November, the song was nominated for the Grammys for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance, going up against the likes of Beyoncé & Post Malone’s ‘Levi’s Jeans’ and Charli XCX & Billie Eilish’s ‘Guess’.

Elsewhere, Abrams recently announced her 2025 ‘The Secret Of Us’ Asia tour, which will see her take on dates in Singapore, South Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, China, Japan and Thailand. Her Asia tour takes place after performing in the UK and Europe, which is set to begin in March 2025. See the full list of dates here.

Abrams discussed how playing stadiums compared to her first ‘bedroom’ tour in 2020. NME: “I remember talking to NME last time (in 2021) and that was like right at the beginning of having ever played any show,” she says.

“I think the biggest difference is that I have a deep love for shows now, not being on stage, but the connection. I feel like it allows me to be a part of this community that is so unlike anything I know anywhere else. Now that I’ve experienced it, I can’t imagine not having it in my life.”
