Weather service has ‘growing concerns’ over winter storm this weekend | 103.9 WLPO

The first big winter storm of the season could arrive this weekend.

The National Weather Service in the Quad Cities said Monday afternoon that it has growing concerns about the potential for a powerful winter storm to affect the Midwest this weekend. Their message goes on to say that lots of details remain unknown, but at this point this system will have the potential to bring a “bit of snow!” Current timing for the possible winter storm is Sunday through Monday.

Before then, there are chances of light snow on both Tuesday and Thursday.
