Kerby Joseph, Terrion Arnold shake hands with 49ers’ Jauan Jennings

In the first quarter of Monday Night Football between the San Francisco 49ers and Detroit Lions, tempers flared between both sides with Jauan Jennings getting into an altercation with Kerby Joseph and Terrion Arnold.

After a block by Jennings that took Arnold out of the back of the end zone, the two got into it on the grass after the play. When Jennings got up, Joseph joined the mix and shoved the 49ers’ receiver over a short wall in the back of the end zone.

After that there was a light fight, but nothing serious happened.

The result of the play was to offset unsportsmanlike conduct penalties, keep the 49ers in the red zone and set up the game’s opening score.
