Well, if you want to reboot an entire cinematic universe that Warner Bros. and James Gunn is currently doing with the DC Universe, you might as well just bring back your most popular actors. Jason Momoa, famous for being one of the few universally agreed upon “good parts” of the DC Universe as Aquaman, returns to Gunn’s new DCU, this time as Lobo. He will debut the role in the coming time Supergirl film. Momoa confirmed his casting on Instagram by quoting himself. “I’ve always wanted to play Lobo because I’m like, ‘Hey? That’s the perfect role,'” Momoa previously said. He wrote the text for the post “They called.”

Lobo is an anti-hero creature and has never been portrayed before on film. Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrowcontributor House of the Dragon‘s Milly Alcock, begins production on January 13 per Deadlinewith Craig Gillespie (Cruella) is directing a script from Ana Nogueira. And while they’re recasting old DCU entrants, we think it would be fun if Gal Gadot starred Arm-fall-of-boy.
