Injury news: Conor Bradley and Ibrahima Konate miss West Ham v Liverpool

The defenders are yet to feature in team training as they work their way back to fitness after picking up injuries during the win over Real Madrid at the end of November.

Therefore, Bradley and Konate will not be available for Arne Slot until 17.15 GMT Kick-off at the London Stadium – the Reds’ final game of 2024 as they look to consolidate their position as Premier League leaders.

Slot said: “They’re not coming back for West Ham United, but then there’s a week in between (before the game against Manchester United) so let’s see how close they are.

“It’s hard for me to tell you at the moment because they’re not training with the group yet, but hopefully they’ll get closer to that situation in the coming days. And then again, Ibou has been out then for five or six weeks maybe, Conor just as long I think, the same amount.

“And also for them, they are in competition with players who are fully fit and doing really well, so I have to make the right assessment the moment they are back in the team.”
