Evans wins 4-2

Evans hits 1+ 180 in each set

We’ve got a third-round tie and then a couple of last-16 games to enjoy on Sunday night – and first up is Ricky Evans v Robert Owen.

Both of these players are looking to go further than they ever have before. Evans is a real entertainer, but he wants his arrows to do the talking now.

Owen is the less experienced player of the two, but he has reached the semi-finals of the UK Open and that is where the majority of his big stage experience comes from.

It comes down to who can keep their cool. Evans doesn’t have to want it too much on the big stage and I’m rooting for him to win it. I’m in Evans wins 4-2. There is also value in supporting #WhatOddsPaddy of Evans hits 1+ 180 in each set.

Price to win 4-2

We have an all Welsh clash between Jonny Clayton and Gerwyn Price.

I was really impressed with how Price held it together against Joe Cullen in the last round when he was under enormous pressure.

Clayton hasn’t played his best stuff and he’ll have to be at his best if he’s going to beat Price.

Price has been really fired up in this tournament and he really wants it, which we may not have seen this year. I’m going after Price to win 4-2.

Humphries wins 4-1

Finally, Luke Humphries’ title defense continues as he faces two-time world champion Peter Wright – and there’s been a bit of needle in this one!

Wright tried to play mind games, but Humphries hit right back. We love watching it and it has turned them both on.

We saw the best version of Wright last time. He was brilliant and that has been missing this year.

Humphries is arguably the best player in the world at the moment. He’s only dropped four legs so far in this tournament, and he hasn’t gotten out of second gear. I’m in Humphries wins 4-1.
