Today in sports betting: Vikings on fire, packers in alarm? NFL Week 17 Predictions; Circa Million and Survivor Selections

Can the Packers stop the Vikings?

Today’s marquee matchup didn’t exactly attract marquee attention from VSiN’s team of Best Bet columnists.

VSiN.com Senior Editor only Zach Cohen stepped to the plate in the Packers-Vikings game (4:25 p.m. ET):

Minnesota has won eight games in a row. The Vikings are the hottest team in football right now, and Sam Darnold has been off his game lately. Darnold started the season well, but he cooled off a bit. Naturally, many believed that he was coming back down to earth. But Darnold has thrown for 15 touchdowns and just one interception over the past six games. He also has had a Passer Rating of at least 107.0 in five of his last six games. Minnesota is now very much alive in the NFC North race as the team is 13-2 and tied with Detroit. But the Vikings really need to win, and this meeting with the Packers (11-4) will be challenging. But given the way Darnold is playing, I see no reason Minnesota can’t win this one at home.

The Colts are the top pick in Circa Survivor with 16 picks out of the remaining 34 entries. Ten picks are already over for Week 18 with 8 on the Rams and 1 on the Chargers. Other picks: 4 apiece on the Bills and Bucs and 1 on the Eagles.

In Circa Million, the top picks were Lions -4 (2,084), Commanders -4 (1,735), Bengals -3 (1,600), Cowboys +9.5 (1,566 and Chargers -4 (1,404), so it’s already two winners with the Bengals and Chargers.
