Your first alert for a rainy night with the possibility of a few t’storms too

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – A low pressure system will move north through the Mid-South tonight, keeping rain in the mix along with the possibility of a few strong to severe storms. Additional rainfall will average three-quarters of an inch to an inch with higher amounts in some areas.

TONIGHT: Rain & T-storms with a west wind 5 to 15 MPH and overnight lows in the lower 60s.

SUNDAY: Partly cloudy with a slight chance of an early morning shower along with a west wind 5 to 10 MPH and afternoon highs in the lower 60s.

SUNDAY EVENING: Mostly cloudy with a light southwest wind and overnight lows in the mid 40s.

NEXT WEEK: Monday will be mostly sunny with highs in the mid 60s and overnight lows in the upper 40s. Tuesday will be mostly cloudy with highs in the mid-50s and overnight lows in the mid-30s. New Year’s Day will be mostly sunny and much cooler with afternoon highs in the mid 40s and overnight lows near the 30s. Thursday will be partly cloudy with highs near the 50s and lows in the mid-30s. Friday will be mostly sunny with highs in the mid 40s and overnight lows in the upper 20s.
