Serious threat over for SWLA, a much better Sunday ahead

LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) – 10:40 PM SATURDAY: The severe threat has ended in SWLA with all storms out of the area and the Tornado Watch expired. This will leave a cooler night for the area and areas of scattered fog will be possible Sunday morning with moisture still in the air.

A cold front will end up moving through early Sunday morning. A nicer and less humid afternoon is ahead, although the front will bring no real change in temperatures. Highs will remain in the 70s through Tuesday with lows in the 50s. After this, another cold front will move through around Tuesday. it is not likely to bring rain, but should bring a reduction in temperatures.
