High Wind WATCH issued for parts of WNY Sunday evening

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — A High wind SE has been submitted from Sunday at 22.00 to Monday at 4 p.m. for Erie, Niagara, Chautauqua, Genesee and Orleans counties. Wind gusts of 60 km/h can produce downed trees and power lines, leading to scattered power outages. Travel can be difficult for high-profile vehicles.

Flooding at the lake shore issued 10:00 p.m. Sunday to 1:00 p.m. Monday for Erie and Chautauqua counties. Residents on or near the coast should take steps to protect property from rapidly rising waters and high waves during this period.
