Here’s a look at all the information and storylines to follow Snoop’s first sponsored bowl game.

So Snoop Dogg has a bowl game?

The official name of the bowl is the “Snoop Dogg Arizona Bowl presented by Gin & Juice by Dre and Snoop.” It is the first bowl to collaborate with an alcohol brand as a name sponsor.

Snoop Dogg will flip the coin, join the telecast crew and present the trophy in Tucson, according to bowl organizers.

Bowl organizers have also teased other involvement of Snoop “and friends” around the bowl, so surprises seem to be in store.

Bars in Tucson are filled with the drink of Snoop, and Dre and Snoop will be at a postgame party at The Monica in Tucson.

Tucson is all in the bowl game. Snoop and “Gin & Juice” signage is everywhere. A large audience (40,000 plus) is expected.

Colorado State fans have flooded the city and CSU has sold out its ticket allotment multiple times. There are cool scenes, including Jay Norvell being driven to practice in the lowrider.

It’s a custom paint job on the Arizona Stadium turf for the bowl, and it’s a beauty. One end zone features the custom Snoop logo and the other features a lowrider with a beautiful Arizona backdrop. The logo of the bowl is also beautiful.

Big Colorado State crowd in Tucson

That’s a huge CSU crowd in Tucson. The Aries sold out their ticket allocation twice. The CSU pep rally on Friday night had more than 1,000 attendees.

NIL money for players around the Snoop Dogg Arizona Bowl

The bowl partnered with sponsors to create a NIL incentive where players are paid to run a youth sports clinic the day before the bowl.

Players were asked to fill out a form that said they would be paid $175 for their performance.

Key players missing from Arizona Bowl

The transfer portal season is well underway (the winter transfer window closes on Saturday) and both teams have some key players on the portal who will not play in the bowl.

To Miami:

  • Will Jados: The 6-foot-8, 307-pound offensive lineman was Miami’s starting left tackle. He has started more than 30 career games for the RedHawks.
  • District Strader: The 6-foot, 182-pound sophomore defensive back was Miami’s top cornerback, earning first-team All-MAC honors.
  • Javon Tracy: The 6-foot, 206-pound sophomore receiver was named first-team All-MAC. Tracy led Miami in catches (57) and yards (818) in 2024.
  • Reggie Virgil: The 6-foot-4, 190-pound junior receiver was named second-team All-MAC in 2024. Virgil was third at Miami in catches (41), second in yards (816) and first in receiving touchdowns (nine).

For Colorado State:

  • Bum Jock: The 6-foot-4, 235-pound linebacker led CSU with 100 tackles while adding 2.5 tackles-for-loss, two fumble recoveries and an interception in 2024.
  • Caleb Goodie: The 6-foot-1, 170-pound receiver had 21 catches for 436 yards and four touchdowns in 2024, leading the team in both yardage and receiving TDs.
  • Jamari person: The 6-foot-1, 200-pound receiver had 36 catches for 386 yards and a touchdown in 2024, ranking second on the team in both catches and yards.
  • Nuer Gatkuoth: The 6-foot-3, 235-pound defensive end played in seven games in 2024 and had 15 tackles. He recorded four tackles-for-loss and one sack in 2024.
