Severe thunderstorms lead to power outages across the region

As severe thunderstorms move across the area, numerous power outages have been reported, leaving thousands of residents without electricity.

As a result of the severe weather, power outages have been reported across several counties.

From 14.00, 11.054 CenterPoint customers are without power.

Entergy has reported the following outcomes per county from 14:00:

• Montgomery: 6,142 affected customers

• Liberty: 132 affected customers
