Central Division rivals turned business partners on Saturday.

Parssinen, 23, has played 15 games for the Predators this season, recording five points (two goals, three assists). The Finnish forward recorded four of those points during a four-game point streak in mid-November.

Through 104 career games, all with Nashville, Parssinen has amassed 42 points (16 goals, 26 assists).

Pavel, 24, has played in two NHL games since being signed by the Avalanche as a college free agent. In 77 games for the AHL’s Colorado Eagles, between 2022-25, he has amassed 12 points (six goals, six assists).

The Predators return to action on Monday when they visit the Winnipeg Jets, while the Avalanche return to the ice, also against the Jets, on Tuesday.
