Glen Powell stars in Hulu’s ‘Chad Powers’ teaser trailer

Glen Powell is fit and hitting the pitch in the first teaser trailer for the new Hulu series Chad Powerswith a premiere in the autumn. The video can be seen above.

From co-creators Powell and Michael Waldron, the half-hour comedy follows hotshot QB Russ Holliday (Powell) whose bad behavior ruins his college career. As a result, he disguises himself and walks onto a struggling Southern football team as the talented, loving Chad Powers.

The short teaser gives an insight into Holliday’s transformation. With the help of a wig and some facial prostheses, he gets a second chance to achieve his dreams.

“I’ve got something coming and it’s something big,” he said in the clip while talking to an unidentified person.

The series also stars Perry Mattfeld as Ricky, Quentin Plair as Coach Byrd, Wynn Everett as Tricia, Frankie A. Rodriguez as Danny and Steve Zahn as Jake Hudson.

Chad Powers is based on the sketch produced by NFL Films and Omaha Productions that aired on ESPN+ as part of the Eli’s places series, the half-hour comedy from 20th Television. Eli Manning serves as executive producer along with Omaha Productions’ Peyton Manning, Jamie Horowitz, Ben Brown and ESPN. Waldron and Adam Fasullo are producing for Anomaly Pictures. Luvh Rakhe will produce alongside Tony Yacenda, who will also serve as director.
