Patience has been a virtue for fantasy managers who held on to Mark Andrews. Andrews scored just 9.5 total fantasy points through the first four weeks of the season. Still, he enters Week 17 as the overall TE5 in total scoring in Semi-PPR formats. Most of Andrews’ success has come through incredible efficiency rather than bankable volume. Andrews has scored nine times in 10 games despite never surpassing six receptions or 68 yards in any game this year. The veteran will likely need to score this week to pay off as a TE1. The Houston Texans rank third in the NFL in DVOA versus tight ends. On the bright side, they have given up six touchdowns to the position, giving Andrews a good chance to continue his Week 17 scoring streak.
